Biography:

I am a child of God, the daughter of an amazing woman who worked as a nurse and a man who worked as a State Trooper and later as a pastor, the mother of a precious child with diagnoses of Aspergers (Autism Spectrum) and ADHD. Additionally, I'm the owner of a yappy mixed breed Chihuahua Yorkshire terrier dog named Yoda and six domestic indoor cats: three black ones named Ashley Bella, Cinder Ella, and Midnight Moon and one grey and black spotted tabby bengel mix named Tiger Lily, a Seal-Point Siamese nam ed KitKat Chewy, and a Calico named Cali CoCo. My son is the official pet namer. Each one of our cats was originally a stray. Persevering through life with God's grace as He sustains me with His wonderful peace and amazing love through my own diagnoses of Autoimmune Diseases, Neuromuscular Diseases, and Immune Deficiency, has taught me many valuable life lessons. Homeschooling my son and helping him cope with the frustrations that arise from his brain functioning differently due to the Autism has also been very eye opening as has been walking alongside my parents as my father's diagnosis of Vascular dementia worsens and we lose more of the person we've known for years. I hope you find God's peace and encouragement flowing through the words I share with you. God is, certainly has been, and will continue to be the source of my strength and peace when life is at its craziest. In Him, I find rest and renewal.
