Our Week in Review - January 23 through 28

This week has been crazy! I had several appointments at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, which means an hour and a half drive one way. To make the best use of our time, we homeschool on the drive. Workbooks, books, and audiobooks travel well and allow us to homeschool wherever we go.

This week for Language Arts and American History, we joined Jack and Annie from the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne as they travelled to England in 1944 during World War II in "World at War, 1944."

For Language Arts and Speech Therapy, we worked on idioms through the book "In a Pickle and Other Funny Idioms."

In American History, we learned more about early America and the American Revolution through the Drive Thru History: American History series. We also learned about ancient Greece with the Drive Thru History: Ancient History series.

In Bible, we finished our lesson on stewardship from SchoolhouseTeachers.com

This week in Animal Science/Biology, we discussed classification of animals. Then, we began learning more about specific animals through Explore the Wildlife series.

In math, we continued working on multiplication with Times Alive.

This week, we blogged about Why We Love Homeschooling and the word Believe.

We hope your week went well and that you have a good start to next week.
